Quality Landscapes
We undertake a range of hard landscaping tasks, from shed bases to large patios, pathways, driveways & large recontouring & resurfacing projects.
Here are some photos of the work we have carried out:
We were asked to build the paths (& astroturf) for the 18 hole, Jurassic Jungle Golf course in Ombersley, Worcester. The pathways were constructed using a self-binding aggregate.
This project involved the removal of the existing paving and the installation of porcelain slabs and additonal garden steps, to create a modern, contemporary feel
Here we created a large patio area at the rear of the house with a joining path and small hard standing at the side and steps to rear garden All in Indian Sandstone .
We were asked to remove the existing landscaping and driveway at the front of the house and re-model it, removing the wall and removing steps on the footpath
A large block paving project, removing the old path and patio area, re-excavating it putting in drainage and then new, clay block paving
The exisiting paving area needed to be made significantly larger. We utilised the existing slabs by creating a contemporary pattern alongside new, honed Indian sandstone
We were asked by Great Witley Parish Council to create a block paved area linking the Quatergreen changing facilities to the tennis court & astroturf area
We removed a large garden outbuilding, excavated and laid the proper foundation for a new garden building
A tired and under-used corner of the garden was brought to life, creating an inviting and pleasant seating area
A timber retaining wall that was falling down and a poorly constructed patio were remedied by providing a sound base and footings, block wall and re-laying the patio to industry standards.
A corner of the garden plagued by large tree roots was transformed by installing the base for a new garden building
Another base for a large garden building, properly excavated and prepared
A block paving quadrant making use of a corner of lawn. The height of the existing drainage inspection cover having to be altered to fit perfectly with the paving.
A patio extension, mixing new and existing slabs to create a more uniform pattern.
Re-laying & extending a patio that had been previously poorly constructed, with no correct use of sub-base materials, leading to uneven and moving slabs.
A large driveway that suffered from poor drainage and water erosion. We excavated and then installed extensive drainage and Bredon Self Binding aggregate to form a durable and aesthetically pleasing driveway surface.
The customer wanted to transform a tired part of the garden into a comfortable area for chairs and a table, in order to enjoy the late day sun. We kept the tree stumps at their request to use as tables/stands which formed a nice feature.
A block paving extension to a semi-circular patio area. The new blocks were a good match but need to weather to completely blend in with time.
A patio extension, step and path using a rustic Indian sandstone. Sandstone setts were used as bricks for the small retaining wall to enhance the rustic feel requested by the customer. Discrete drainage was created using a slot drain leading to a soakaway.
Two simple gravel paths dug across the lawn, steel edging used for the sides with a membrane & gravel in-fill
Another garden building base re-constructed to a much higher specification for a new high-end garden building
More new garden building bases constructed - within +/-5mm tolerance across the length to the garden building suppliers recommendation
A simple gravel replacement to an overgrown and labour intensive bed, ready for pots and ease of maintenance
